Newsflash

Hardgainer is a classification used in bodybuilding to describe people who find it hard to increase their muscle mass. There is no precise term to describe someone who is the opposite of a hardgainer (that is, someone that finds it easy to add muscle mass).

Abs To Die For! Electrical Muscle Stimulators

A good number of people in modern society have some sort of regular exercise routine. There are usually two reasons for this; either they want to get and stay fit, or they want to look good. The latter is a product of a vain society that puts huge vale in appearance. Staying fit is a more sensible and valid reason.

Whatever the reason, a regular routine can go a long way to a longer, healthier life because it keeps all muscles in working order, including the heart. There are ways to supplement this when you are inactive. Electrical muscle stimulators provide one such way.

Electrical muscle stimulators are everywhere. You may have seen one on a sports or fitness show, an infomercial, in a magazine or in a store. They usually take the form of a box with several dials, from which wires with electrode pads sprout. They are used over short periods of time, usually no longer than twenty minutes per area, to stimulate muscles and strengthen them whilst the individual rests. They work by sending small shock waves of varying intensity through muscle tissue so it contracts as if it was being used. It is not as effective as actually exercising but can be used as a top up, or to work neglected muscles. Most cannot be used on the face or neck though. However, they do work overall.

Electrical muscle stimulators can be found in most good sports and fitness stores, as well as in some home catalogs. You can also buy them off Internet stores. They can be used by most people, apart from those with heart problems, epilepsy and similar health problems. They can also cause any fitted devices, pacemakers for example, to stop working. Always read the instructions before you do use one in case the group that should not use or should consult a physician first includes you. They can help those who have had sports injuries or muscle wastage from broken bones and so on. Whatever your reasons, try an electrical muscle stimulator. It may compliment your regime and enable you to feel fit and healthy.
